Amazons, The Ancestral Future
An exhibition that delves into the immense natural and cultural wealth of the territory, cities and Indigenous communities to discover the art, thought and enormous ecological impact of a region crucial to the future of the planet
The title contains a powerful and seemingly contradictory statement connecting the past with the future which is reflected in the graphics that articulates the exhibition, where the typography is arranged in a way that evokes the vines of the jungle, but also the code of the famous futuristic film The Matrix

Dimension as a presence
Large letters placed throughout the exhibition maintain the feeling of being in the middle of something, referencing the course of the river, and generate a certain sense of smallness in the face of the enormity and complexity of the Amazon

Two complementary voices
The jungle-futuristic touch used for the main headlines gives way to an editorial tone, which is the main voice of the exhibition and seems more appropriate for discussing art, literature or culture

A magazine inside a book
In the section on extractivism the general editorial tone becomes more journalistic and the visitor enters a kind of three-dimensional magazine
